Indian national cricket team in England in the 2007 season

The tour of the Indian Cricket Team to England in the 2007 season took place from 19 July to 8 September, 2007. The international cricket tour was part of the 2007 international cricket season and included three tests and seven ODIs . India won the Test series 1–0 while England won the ODI series 4–3.

prehistory

England last played a tour against the West Indies , India in Ireland against South Africa . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2005/06 season in India . The Marylebone Cricket Club donated in memory of the 75th anniversary of the first tests of the Indian team in England the Pataudi Trophy, which is played since in all test series in India in England.
