West Indies cricket team in England in the 2007 season
The tour of the West Indies cricket team to England in the 2007 season was held from 17 May to 7 July of 2007. The international cricket tour was part of the 2007 international cricket season and included four tests , three ODIs and two Twenty20s . England won the Test Series 3-0, the West Indies won the ODI Series 2-1, while the Twenty20 Series 1-1 ended in a draw.
prehistory
Right before the tour, the Cricket World Cup 2007 took place, in which both teams were eliminated in the Super 8 round. In their last game at this tournament, the two teams played against each other and England prevailed with a wicket. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2004 season in England . Prior to the tour, the West Indian players had disputes with their association over payments, which included threats not to play the tour.
