The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to England in the 2001 season took place from May 4th to June 4th 2001. The international cricket tour was part of the 2001 international cricket season and included two test matches . The test series ended 1-1.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Pakistan in the 2000/01 season .

During the test, the English captain Nasser Hussain sustained a thumb injury. For the remainder of the test and the second test, Alec Stewart took over the captain role . The test experienced a special application of the follow-on rule . Since the first day had to be canceled completely due to rain, England had a lead of 150 runs in the first innings instead of the 200 runs normally required for 5-day games to enforce the follow-on.
