The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2000 season took place from June 14th to July 2nd, 2000. The international cricket tour was part of the 2000 international cricket season and included three test matches . Pakistan won the test series 2–0.
prehistory
Both teams previously played in the Asia Cup , which Pakistan won in the final against Sri Lanka. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Pakistan in the 1999/00 season .
