West Indies cricket team in Sri Lanka in the 2005 season

The West Indies cricket team's tour to Sri Lanka in the 2005 season took place from July 13-25, 2005. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005 international cricket season and included two tests . Sri Lanka won the Test Series 2–0.

prehistory

The West Indies previously played a tour against Pakistan , for Sri Lanka it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2003 season in the West Indies . The West Indies had a players strike before the start of the tour, which could not be completely resolved and so they did not have the best line-up in Sri Lanka.
