The West Indies cricket team's 2001 tour to Zimbabwe took place July 9-27. The international cricket tour was part of the 2001 international cricket season and included two test matches . West Indies won the test series 1-0.
prehistory
Both teams previously played a three-nation tournament with India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1999/2000 season in the West Indies . It was the first time the West Indies had a tour in Zimbabwe.
