The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Zimbabwe in the 2009 season took place from August 9th to 18th, 2009. The international cricket tour was part of the 2009 international cricket season and included a five ODI game series, which Bangladesh won 4-1.

prehistory

For Zimbabwe it was the first tour of the season, the last tour played took place in January 2009 against Kenya . Bangladesh previously played a tour in the West Indies . The last clash between the two teams was in Bangladesh in January of that year, when Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe in an ODI series.
