2009 international cricket season
The 2009 international cricket season took place between May 2009 and August 2009. As the summer season, mainly home games for teams from Europe were played. The tests carried out on the international tours formed the basis for the ICC Test Championship . The ODIs formed the basis for the ICC ODI Championship and the Twenty20 games for the ICC T20I Championship . The highlight of the season was the ICC World Twenty20 2010 .
