The 2006/07 international cricket season took place between September 2006 and April 2007. The winter season was mainly home games for teams from South Asia, the Caribbean and Oceania. The tests carried out on the international tours formed the basis for the ICC Test Championship . The ODIs formed the basis for the ICC ODI Championship . The highlight of the season was the 2007 Cricket World Cup .
