The 2012/13 international cricket season took place between October 2012 and April 2013. The winter season was mainly home games for teams from South Asia, the Caribbean and Oceania, which were specified by the ICC Future Tours Program 2011-2020. The highlight of the season was the ICC World Twenty20 2012 . The tests carried out on the international tours form the basis for the ICC Test Championship . The ODI form the basis for the ICC ODI Championship and the Twenty20 games for the ICC T20I Championship .
