Bangladeshi national cricket team in Sri Lanka in the 2012/13 season
The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2012/13 season took place from March 8 to March 31, 2013. The international cricket tour was part of the 2012/13 international cricket season and included two tests , three ODIs and one Twenty20s . Sri Lanka won the Test series 1–0 and the Twenty20 series 1–0, while the ODI series 1–1 ended in a draw.
prehistory
Sri Lanka previously did a tour in Australia , Bangladesh a tour against the West Indies . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2008 season in England . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2008/09 season in Bangladesh . Before the tour, there were disputes between the players and the association on the part of Sri Lanka over payment. When numerous players refused to sign a new contract, they were banned from the Association for International Cricket. Shortly before the start of the tour, the players agreed to the contract and so Sri Lanka could compete with a regular team.
