The Sri Lankan national cricket team tour to Australia in the 2012/13 season took place from December 14, 2012 to January 28, 2013. The international cricket tour was part of the 2012/13 international cricket season and included three tests , five ODIs and two Twenty20s . Australia won the Test series 3–0, Sri Lanka the Twenty20 series 2–0, while the ODI series 2–2 ended in a draw.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against South Africa , while Sri Lanka played a tour against New Zealand . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2010/11 season in Australia .

Sri Lanka named its test squad on November 20th, the ODI and Twenty20 squad on January 2nd, 2013. Australia named its test squad on December 6th and its ODI squad on January 6th, 2013.
