The tour of the Sri Lankan national cricket team to New Zealand in the 1994/95 season took place from March 11 to April 1, 1995. The international cricket tour was part of the 1994/95 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . Sri Lanka won the Test Series 1–0 while New Zealand won the ODI Series 2–1.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a test against South Africa , Sri Lanka a four-nation tournament in South Africa. The last meeting of the two teams took place in Sri Lanka in the 1992/93 season .
