The Sri Lankan national cricket team tour to England in the 2002 season took place from April 26 to June 13, 2002. The international cricket tour was part of the 2002 international cricket season and included three test matches . England won the test series 2-0.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Sri Lanka in the 2000/01 season .
