Ashes Tour 1975

The Ashes Tour 1975 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team , which included the 48th edition of the Ashes , and was held between July 10 and September 3, 1975. The international cricket tour was part of the 1975 international cricket season and included four test matches . Australia won the series 1-0.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams, but both teams had previously played at the 1975 Cricket World Cup . Australia beat England in the semi-finals there, but then lost to the West Indies in the final . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1974/75 season in Australia .
