Ashes Tour 1890

The Ashes Tour 1890 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team , which included the 8th edition of the Ashes , and was held between July 21 and August 27, 1890. The international cricket tour was part of the 1890 international cricket season and included two test matches . England won the series 2–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Australia in the 1887/88 season .
