Central Journal of the Swiss Zofinger Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Centralblatt of the Swiss Zofingerverein is the membership publication of the non-beating Swiss student association Schweizerischer Zofingerverein founded in 1819 . The secondary title is "Feuille centrale de la Société de Zofingue". According to its own information, it sees itself as a “refuge for numerous academic, economic, political and even literary discussions”.

history

The sections of the Zofinger Association initially informed each other with official correspondence, which was read out and discussed at the events. Various sections later published their own papers, such as the magazine Le Zofingien of the French-speaking sections from 1850 to 1852. The Zofinger Blatt appeared in Kurrentschrift from 1850 to 1854 . In 1861 the Vaudois published the Année Zofingienne . In the same year, the St. Gallen Section suggested that a new club journal be published. In June 1861 the first year of the Centralblatt of the Neu-Zofingerverein appeared .

The central bibliographic database Zeitschriftdatenbank has edition 8.1867 / 68 (1868) as the first edition in the course of publication. The direct predecessor title was the Centralblatt of the Neu-Zofingerverein , which appeared from 1861 to 1867. This means that the Centralblatt of the Swiss Zofinger Association is at least 20 years, if not 26 years older than the Burschenschaftliche Blätter of the Deutsche Burschenschaft (DB).

Deviating from the main title, the font also appeared under the titles Feuille centrale , Zentralblatt des Zofingerverein and Central-Blatt der Zofinger .
