Ashes Tour 1899

The Ashes Tour 1899 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team that included the 14th edition of the Ashes , and was held between June 1 and August 16, 1899. The international cricket tour was part of the 1899 international cricket season and included five test matches . Australia won the series 1–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the season 1897/98 in Australia .
