Australia national cricket team against Pakistan in the 2018/19 season

The Australian national cricket team's tour against Pakistan in the 2018/19 season took place in the United Arab Emirates from October 7-28, 2018 and March 22-31, 2019 . The international cricket tour is part of the 2018/19 international cricket season and includes two Tests and three Twenty20s in the first section and five One-Day Internationals in the second. Pakistan won the Test series 1–0 and the Twenty20 series 3–0. Australia won the ODI series 5-0.

First section in October 2018

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 2016/17 season in Australia . Originally the Pakistani association had hoped to host parts of the tour in Pakistan, but the Australian association refused this for security reasons. The Pakistani Association also considered holding its tours in Malaysia in the future , but agreed on June 26, 2018 to continue the tour in the United Arab Emirates.
