The Australian national cricket team's tour to New Zealand in the 2016/17 season , also known as the 2016/17 Chappell-Hadlee Tour , took place from January 30th to February 5th, 2017. The international cricket tour was part of the 2016/17 international cricket season and included three ODIs . New Zealand won the series 2-0.

New Zealand previously played a tour against Bangladesh , Australia against Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour was in Australia in the same season in which Australia won all three ODIs.
