The tour of India's national cricket team to Pakistan in the 1998/99 season took place from December 18, 1998 to January 19, 1999. The international cricket tour was part of the 1998/99 international cricket season and included two tests and five ODIs . New Zealand won the Test series 1–0, while the ODI series 2–2 ended in a draw.

New Zealand previously took part in the ICC KnockOut 1998 and failed in the preliminary round. India previously played a tournament in the United Arab Emirates . The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 1995/96 season in India .
