The tour of the Indian national cricket team in the West Indies in the 2006 season took place from May 18 to July 2, 2006. The international cricket tour was part of the 2006 international cricket season and included four tests and five ODIs . India won the Test Series 1–0 while the West Indies won the ODI Series 4–1.
prehistory
The West Indies previously played a tour against Zimbabwe , for India it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002/03 season in India .
