The Bangladeshi national cricket team's 2018 season tour of the West Indies took place in the West Indies and the United States from July 4 to August 4, 2018 . The international cricket tour was part of the 2018 International Cricket Season and included two Tests , three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20s . Bangladesh won the two limited overs series 2−1, while the West Indies won the test series 2−0.

prehistory

The West Indies previously played a tour against Sri Lanka , Bangladesh a tour against Afghanistan in India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Bangladesh in the 2014 season . The tour was originally supposed to take place in February. However, since the West Indies had to contest the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 , it was moved to the summer.
