The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Pakistan in the 2003 season took place from August 20 to September 21, 2003. The international cricket tour was part of the 2003 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . Pakistan won the Test Series 2-0 and the ODI Series 5-0.
prehistory
Pakistan previously played a tour in England , Bangladesh in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2001/02 season in Bangladesh .

Bangladesh have long been in a good position but lost an important wicket to a controversial catch from Pakistani captain Rashid Latif . He dropped the ball, but claimed that the catch was correct. When television pictures showed the opposite, he was banned from the ODI series and no longer played any further tests for Pakistan. In 2009, Latif confirmed to Pakistani media that he had deliberately given false testimony.
