South African national cricket team in Pakistan in the 2003/04 season

The tour of the South African national cricket team to Pakistan in the 2003/04 season took place from October 3rd to 28th, 2003. The international cricket tour was part of the 2003/04 international cricket season and included two tests and five ODIs . Pakistan won the Test Series 1–0 while South Africa won the ODI Series 3–2.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002/03 season in South Africa . The tour was originally scheduled a week in advance, but has been postponed due to safety concerns. Security was tightened again after an attack broke out in pakistan during the tour.
