Högldorf is a district of the town of Rottenburg an der Laaber in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

Högldorf is located in the Hallertau on the Große Laber about four kilometers north of Rottenburg an der Laaber. The village is located in the middle between the cities of Regensburg and Landshut .
history
Högldorf was from 1244 to 1574 a separate parish and 1574-1803 as a Vicariate the monastery pipe incorporated. Högldorf has been part of the parish of Laaberberg since 1805 .
The place Högldorf consisted of twenty properties in 1752 and formed a chairman . The municipality of Högldorf emerged from the Pattendorf tax district on the basis of this chairmanship . It included the places Högldorf, Geratsberg, Schierlkofen, Schirmbach and Untervorholzen and initially belonged to the district court of Pfaffenberg and, after the establishment of the district court of Rottenburg in 1838, to the district court, district office and finally district of Rottenburg an der Laaber . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , she voluntarily joined the city of Rottenburg an der Laaber on July 1, 1972.
