history

An Ebran von Pattendorf met in Pattendorf as early as the 12th century. In 1401 Hans Gehwolf zu Greysbach received the tithe of the Hofmark Pattendorf, which could be borrowed from the Regensburg Monastery, to Ulrich Ebran's sister. In 1406 Pattendorf came to Ulrich Regelsdorfer, who sold it in 1408 to Messrs. Jobst and Georg zu Abensberg . He sold the Hofmark, Taferne and the building at Pattendorf along with other goods to Ulrich Ebron von Wildenberg in 1411.

In 1493, Hans Ebron founded a hospital in the village to help poor, needy people. It still exists today. In 1610 Pattendorf appears as a closed Hofmark with a hospital and castle stable.

The municipality of Pattendorf was founded by the Bavarian municipal edict in 1818. In addition to Pattendorf, the community included the places Gisseltshausen, Marktstauden, Preckmühle (crushing mill), Schaltdorf and Schleifmühle. The municipality of Pattendorf in the district of Rottenburg an der Laaber was enlarged on July 1, 1972 by parts of the dissolved municipality of Wolferthau , but then became part of the city of Rottenburg an der Laaber on May 1, 1978 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
