The tour of the Indian national cricket team to Pakistan in the 1982/83 season took place from December 3, 1982 to February 4, 1983. The international cricket tour was part of the 1982/83 international cricket season and included six tests and four ODIs . Pakistan won the Test Series 3–0 and the ODI Series 3–1.

Pakistan previously played a tour against Australia , India a tour against Sri Lanka . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1979/80 season in India .
