The tour of the Indian national cricket team to Bangladesh in the 2004/05 season took place from December 10th to 27th, 2004. The international cricket tour was part of the 2004/05 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . India won the Test Series 2–0 and the ODI Series 2–1.

prehistory

Bangladesh previously played a tour against New Zealand , India against South Africa . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Bangladesh in the 2000/01 season . The start of the tour had to be postponed for a day after there was a terror threat against the players.
