The tour of the Zimbabwean national cricket team to South Africa in the 2004/05 season took place from February 25 to March 13, 2005. The international cricket tour was part of the 2004/05 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . South Africa won the Test Series 2–0 and the ODI Series 3–0.

prehistory

South Africa previously played a tour against England , Zimbabwe against Bangladesh . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2001/02 season in Zimbabwe .
