Zimbabwean cricket team against Afghanistan in the 2017/18 season
The tour of the Zimbabwean national cricket team against Afghanistan in the 2017/18 season will take place in the United Arab Emirates from February 5th to 19th, 2018 . The international cricket tour is part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and includes five ODIs and two Twenty20s . Afghanistan won the Twenty20 series 2-0.
prehistory
Afghanistan previously played a tour against Ireland , and Zimbabwe played a three-nation tournament in Bangladesh . The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 2015/16 season in Zimbabwe . In the run-up to the tour, negotiations were held about whether Afghanistan should complete its first test on this tour , but this was not implemented.
