Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series 2017/18

The 2017/18 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series was a three-nation tournament that was held from January 15 to 17, 2018 in Bangladesh in one-day cricket . In addition to the host, teams from Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2017/18 international cricket season . In the final, Sri Lanka was able to prevail against Bangladesh with 79 runs.

prehistory

Bangladesh previously did a tour in South Africa , Zimbabwe a test in South Africa and Sri Lanka a tour in India .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result. Bonus points were also awarded. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
