The tour of the Sri Lankan national cricket team to Bangladesh in the 2017/18 season took place from January 31 to February 18, 2018. The international cricket tour was part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and included two tests and two Twenty20s . Sri Lanka won the Test series 1–0 and the Twenty20 series 2–0.

prehistory

Both teams previously played in a three-nation tournament in Bangladesh with Zimbabwe , in the final of which Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh with 79 runs. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Sri Lanka in the 2016/17 season .
