International cricket season 2017/18
The 2017/18 international cricket season took place between October 2017 and April 2018. As the winter season, the teams from South Asia, the Caribbean and Oceania played their home games. The tests carried out on the international tours formed the basis for the ICC Test Championship . The ODI formed the basis for the ICC ODI Championship and the Twenty20 games for the ICC T20 Championship.
Season course
On August 21, 2017 it was announced that the world association ICC would try to promote international cricket in Pakistan. In addition, it planned to send a world selection to the country to hold a Twenty20 series in Lahore . Since the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in 2009, there have only been a few tours to the country. This should be followed by further tours in the course of the season, such as an encounter of the tour against Sri Lanka and a tour of the West Indies at the same point.
