West Indies cricket team in New Zealand in the 2017/18 season

The West Indies cricket team's tour to New Zealand in the 2017/18 season took place from December 1, 2017 to January 3, 2018. The international cricket tour was part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and included two tests , three ODIs and three Twenty20s . New Zealand won the Test Series 2-0, the ODI Series 3-0 and the Twenty20 Series 2-0.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a tour in India , where both the Twenty20 series and the ODI series were lost. The West Indies previously contested a successful test series in Zimbabwe . The previously planned Twenty20 series in Pakistan has been postponed for security reasons. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2014 season in the West Indies .

Squad lists

The West Indies named their Test squad on November 6, and their ODI and Twenty20 squad on December 5, 2017. New Zealand named their Test squad on November 26 and its Twenty20 squad on December 23, 2017.
