The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to New Zealand in the 2016/17 season took place from November 17 to 21, 2016. The international cricket tour was part of the 2016/17 international cricket season and included two tests . New Zealand won the series 2–0.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a tour in India , Pakistan against the West Indies . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in New Zealand in the 2015/16 season . On November 14th there was an earthquake off the South Island of New Zealand, but the tour was able to start as planned.
