The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to England in the 1996 season took place from July 25 to September 1, 1996. The international cricket tour was part of the 1996 international cricket season and included three test matches and three ODIs . Pakistan won the Test series 2–0 while England won the ODI series 2–1.

prehistory

This is the first tour of the season for Pakistan, while England had previously played a home tour against India . The last meeting on a tour took place in England in the 1992 season .
