Ashes Tour 2015

The Ashes tour in 2015 was the tour of the Australian Cricket Team , the 69th staging of the Ashes included, and was carried out between 25 June and 13 September, 2015. The Ashes Series 2015 itself was played in the form of five test matches between England and Australia. The venues were both English stadiums. In addition to the test series, the tour included a number of other games between the two teams in the summer of 2015 . England won the test series 3-2, the ODI series Australia won 3-2 and England won the Twenty20 series 1-0.

prehistory

classification

It was the second tour of their home season for the English, having previously hosted New Zealand . Australia had recently played a test series in the West Indies . The last meeting of the two teams took place at the Cricket World Cup 2015 in India, which Australia won after beating England in the preliminary round. The last Ashes tour took place in Australia in 2013-14 and was dominated by the host.
