Ashes Tour 1981

The Ashes Tour 1981 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team , which included the 51st edition of the Ashes , and was held between June 4 and September 1, 1981. The international cricket tour was part of the 1981 international cricket season and included five test matches and three ODIs . England won the Test series 3–1, while Australia won the ODI series 1–2.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1980 season .
