Ashes Tour 1989
The Ashes Tour 1989 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team , which included the 55th edition of the Ashes , and was held between May 25 and August 29, 1989. The international cricket tour was part of the 1989 international cricket season and included six test matches and three ODIs . Australia won the test series with 4-0. The ODI series ended in a 1–1 draw.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting on a tour took place in the 1987/88 season in Australia .
