The tour of the Australian national cricket team to South Africa in the 2015/16 season took place from March 4th to 9th, 2016. The international cricket tour was part of the 2015/16 international cricket season and included three Twenty20s . Australia won the series 2–1.
prehistory
South Africa previously played a tour against England , Australia in New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2014/15 season in Australia . Prior to the tour, South African bowler Aaron Phangiso's technique was declared illegal. In preparation for the last Twenty20, his technique was declared valid again in repeated tests, but it was no longer used.
