The tour of the West Indies cricket team for South Africa in the 1998/99 season took place from November 26 to February 7 1998th The international cricket tour was part of the 1998/99 international cricket season and included five tests and seven ODIs . South Africa won the Test Series 5–0 and the ODI Series 6–1.

prehistory

Both teams previously took part in the ICC KnockOut 1998 and came to the final, where South Africa prevailed with four wickets. The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 1993 season in the West Indies .
