The St George's Park is a Cricket - Stadium in the South African city of Port Elizabeth . The stadium serves as the home of the warrior .

Capacity and infrastructure

The stadium has a seating capacity of 19,000. The two ends are called Duckpond End and Park Drive End .

International cricket has been played in the stadium since 1889. No tests took place here between the World Wars, but started again after the Second World War . With the suspension of South Africa from international cricket in 1970, there was another hiatus, which only ended in 1992. At the 2003 Cricket World Cup , five games took place here, including a semi-final.
