The tour of the New Zealand national cricket team to South Africa in the 1953/54 season took place from December 11, 1953 to February 9, 1954. The international cricket tour was part of the 1953/54 international cricket season and comprised five tests . South Africa won the series 4–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1952/53 season in New Zealand . It was New Zealand's first tour of South Africa.
