The New Zealand national cricket team's tour to India for the 1964/65 season took place from February 27 to March 22, 1965. The international cricket tour was part of the 1964/65 international cricket season and comprised four tests . India won the series 1–0.

prehistory

India previously played a tour against Australia , New Zealand against Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1955/56 season in India .
