from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The tour of the New Zealand national cricket team to Australia in the 2019/20 season took place from December 12, 2019 to January 7, 2020 and on March 13, 2020. The international cricket tour was part of the 2019/20 international cricket season and included three tests and three ODIs . The test series was part of the ICC World Test Championship 2019-2021 . Australia won the test series 3-0 and the ODI series 1-0 when the last two ODIs were no longer held due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against Pakistan , New Zealand a tour against England . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in New Zealand in the 2016/17 season . The tour was split in two because India insisted on promises made regarding an ODI series that would not allow the ODI series to be played against New Zealand in January.
