Nepal Tri-Nation Series 2019/20

The Nepal Tri-Nation Series 2019/20 was a three-nation tournament that was played in one-day cricket in Nepal from February 5 to 12, 2020 . In addition to the host, teams from Oman and the United States took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019/20 international cricket season . It was the fifth tournament as part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 2019-2022 , which formed a qualification path to the Cricket World Cup 2023 via the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022 . Oman prevailed over Nepal and the United States and won the competition.

prehistory

Nepal previously played at the 2019 South Asian Games , Oman last played a three-nation tournament at home , while the USA took part in such a three-nation tournament in the United Arab Emirates .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result.
