Oman Tri-Nation Series 2019/20

The Oman Tri-Nation Series 2019/20 was a three-nation tournament that was held from January 5th to 12th, 2020 in Oman in one-day cricket . In addition to the host, teams from Namibia and the United Arab Emirates took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019/20 international cricket season . It was the fourth tournament as part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 2019-2022 , which formed a qualification path to the Cricket World Cup 2023 via the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022 . The United Arab Emirates won the competition after several games had to be canceled due to the death of Qabus ibn Said .

Namibia and Oman previously played in the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019 , the United Arab Emirates most recently played a three-nation tournament at home .

format

In a preliminary round, each team plays twice against each other. There are two points for a win, one point for a tie or no result.
