ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022

The ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022 is the qualifying tournament for the Cricket World Cup 2023 that is to be held in 2022. It is also the twelfth qualifying tournament for a cricket world championship.

Qualification path to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

A total of ten teams take part in the tournament. The following five teams qualify through the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2020–2022 (CWC Super League 2020–22):

  • Ninth in the CWC Super League 2020-22
  • Tenth in the CWC Super League 2020-22
  • Eleventh in the CWC Super League 2020-22
  • Twelfth place in the 2020–22 CWC Super League
  • Thirteenth in the CWC Super League 2020-22

The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 2019-2022 (CWC League 2 2019-22) qualifies the following three teams:

  • First of the CWC League 2 2019-22
  • Runner-up in the CWC League 2 2019-22
  • Third in the CWC League 2 2019-22

The following two teams qualify through the ICC Cricket World Cup Play-Off 2022 (CWC Play-Off 2022), in which the remaining teams of the CWC League 2 and the two best teams of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2019-2021 participate :

  • First of the CWC Play-Off 2022
  • Second in the CWC Play-Off 2022
