ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2020-2022
The ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2020–2022 is a cricket competition that will be held in the One-Day International format between July 2020 and March 2022 and will qualify for the 2023 Cricket World Cup .
prehistory
The league was originally supposed to start in May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated cancellation of many tours . The World Cup itself was also pushed back to allow more time for the qualification process.

format
Each team plays an ODI series against eight of the opposing teams during the competition period, four at home and four away. Each series consists of three ODIs. The best seven teams and India will qualify for the Cricket World Cup 2023. The remaining five teams will play in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022 for the remaining two places in the final round.
